What were your New Year's resolutions for 2006? How did you do?
I think I accomplished all of my resolutions... get the hell away from the Fraser Valley, move back to Vancouver Island, and start a degree in Creative Writing at Malaspina University College... low and behold I've done all that this year and more...
Hmmm.... how boring it was, although I got to write more. Scriptwriting was such a joke that I should have dropped it, I received a B- in the class and am sure that the prof hates me. I never handed in stuff late, although he says I did, and allowed friends of my to door their mid semester project in the final month of the semester when it was due in the second month. Oh well... nothing to do right now, I have him for a prof in January and if he pulls this crap again I'll lodge a complaint with the school against him.
As for other classes my intro to nonfiction went well B+ which is my overall average (and will hopefully get me into either UBC or McGill [if they have a creative writing program]). I saw a B+ in poetry as well. It was fun semester accompanied by the start of a writing club that myself and friends made to help our writing come alive.
Too much to do right now.... editing writing to hopefully submit, and new styles keep rolling in my mind.

What's the best present you gave this year?
I think it was probably the ability to talk to my brother like I haven't done in the past three years. Strained relationships, but, that all ended for some reason or another this year and we were able to sit down and talk as though we were part of a family.
